1. Controller and scope

Skål Club de Cádiz, trading as Skål Internacional Cádiz, Spanish tax identification number G11237823, with its address at Calle San Francisco 9, 11004 Cádiz, Spain, is responsible for this website's own cookies. Contact: info@skalcongresscadiz2027.com.

This policy describes the current configuration of the congress platform. Cookies are small files stored by the browser to enable certain functions. Some disappear when the browser session ends, while others have a defined expiry time.

2. Inventory of first-party cookies

The following cookies are used only when required by the relevant function and are served from the platform's domain:

• csrftoken. Provider: Skål Club de Cádiz. Type: technical security cookie. Protects forms against forged requests. Maximum configured lifetime: 364 days, renewable when protected forms are used. It does not contain card details and is not used for advertising.
• sessionid. Provider: Skål Club de Cádiz. Type: technical session cookie. Links the prebooking steps, prevents duplicates when retrying a payment and maintains authentication in the administration area. Configured lifetime: 14 days from creation or update; it may be deleted earlier on logout. Although described as a session cookie because of its function, its expiry setting allows it to persist after the browser is closed.
• messages. Provider: Skål Club de Cádiz. Type: technical cookie. Temporarily stores result notifications or errors between pages, including in the administration area. It is consumed when the notification is displayed and, if it remains in the browser, expires when the browser session ends. It only appears when there is a message to store.

The language is selected through each page's address (/es/, /en/ or /fr/); the current language selector does not set a language cookie. The website does not use browser local storage for tracking, advertising cookies, social media pixels or analytics tools.

3. Why acceptance is not requested

These cookies are used exclusively for technical functions necessary to provide the service requested. They fall within the exemption in Article 22.2 of the Spanish LSSI-CE and do not require prior consent. For this reason, the website does not display a cookie acceptance button or treat browsing as consent.

If technologies requiring consent are introduced, they will be blocked until users make a choice, this policy will be updated, and options to accept, reject and configure them will be offered with equivalent prominence. Withdrawing consent will be as easy as giving it.

4. Payment through Stripe

When payment is initiated, users are redirected to a page hosted by Stripe. The congress website does not load Stripe.js or an embedded card form during ordinary browsing. On the external payment page, Stripe may use its own security, fraud prevention and operational technologies, and must provide the information and choices appropriate to their purposes.

5. Blocking and deletion

You can view, delete or block the website's cookies through your browser's privacy, site data or permissions settings. You can do this for this domain without deleting cookies from other websites. Private browsing mode does not necessarily prevent cookies from being set while you browse.

Blocking technical cookies may stop form submission, continuity of a prebooking or access to the administration area from working. Deleting cookies does not cancel an order or delete data that must be retained to manage the contract.

6. Data protection and changes

The Privacy Notice explains the legal bases for processing, recipients, retention and rights, including the right to lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency: https://www.aepd.es. First-party cookies are not used to build marketing profiles. This policy will be reviewed whenever functions or providers change.
